HOW BEAUTIFUL SYMPHONY STUDIOS GOT STARTED
Beautiful Symphony Studios started with me just doing my own hair and makeup. People took notice and asked if i could do it for them. The smiles on their faces and the extra boost of confidence they had after I was done inspired me to do this for a living. When a woman is confident/ feeling herself, there’s a tune she has in her head. She walks to her own beat and it’s such a BEAUTIFUL SYMPHONY.
ADVICE TO THOSE PURSUING THEIR DREAMS
Believe in yourself.
Don’t be afraid to think outside the box and be different.
Invest in your craft.
Study your craft.
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t succeed.
HER GREATEST INFLUENCE
The greatest influence in my life would have to be my family. They push me to see the value in myself, especially my mother and husband. My mother invested in me more than what she had to give. My husband helped me come up with the name Beautiful Symphony. No matter how much I wanted to, he never let me give up.
BIGGEST CHALLENGE SHE’S EVER HAD TO OVERCOME
I would have to say fear of failure was my biggest challenge I had to overcome. It definitely crippled my mind and it took me years to go back to school and finish. I thank God for the strength and renewed mindset He gave me.
ADVICE TO YOUNGER SELF
Be BOLD.
Believe in your talent and your self worth.
Don’t allow fear to cripple you.
Don’t let other people's thoughts of you become your thoughts of you.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE FUTURE
In the future expect to see YouTube tutorials, a cosmetic and hair line, a full service salon and makeup classes from Imani.
