BUSINESS NICHE

Most people can walk up to a makeup counter to get their makeup done for a special occasion. As a Freelance Makeup Artist I am not bound to use a single brand. I ask and listen to what my clients feel are concerns/ imperfections and I help enhance the natural beauty they already are.

HOW INNERBEAUTYOUT GOT STARTED

My business was really a hobby initially. I would be the go-to person for my close friends and family when it came to applying makeup for special occasions. However, I think my business really began to develop and grow once I started making YouTube videos. I realized that I could be earning money doing something I really enjoy and the rest was history.

GREATEST INFLUENCE

Her family.

Erline explains: My greatest influence and motivation would have to be my family. They have always been super supportive about anything I was interested in. To be quite honest, being of Haitian decent I did not think my parents would really accept this creative outlet as a means of income, but a lot of times my mom would sit and watch me transform my clients from start to finish and would be so impressed. She asks to be my momager all the time…lol.

FAVORITE PASTIME

“My favorite thing to do in my spare time is making YouTube videos. I created my channel to share the things I am passionate about, my love for makeup and trying new products. I love making makeup tutorials. I have certainly come a long way in my channel from the quality of my videos and makeup application…lol. However, I love the ability to look back on how much I've grown and anticipate that I can only get better.”

IF HER LIFE WERE A MOVIE

Rejected Doesn’t Equate to Failure

Erline explains: “…she thought she had it all planned out but God has something greater. God continues to surprise me that way all the time. I will come up with plan A, B and C because I always want to walk into a situation mentally prepared and in control. However, God has his way of making it clear that he is the real author in my life.”

ADVICE TO YOUNGER SELF

I think I am still in a growing phase in my life with new life experiences every day. However, I don't think anything I have done in the past was by mistake. I believe it was part of God's plan to allow me to be stronger, wiser and less fearful about what is to come.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN FUTURE

Erline says: "Although, I do not hold the title of being the author of my life, I personally feel like I am still in the early phases of my makeup artistry career. I aspire to tap into new levels of my artistry skills and awesome opportunities. If anything, I hope to really be an inspiration to others in doing the unexpected or unconventional and changing the mindset of what it means to be successful. Most of all, I am really hopeful and excited about where God is leading me."
