SPOTLIGHT SATURDAY: Kassandra Dobson
A self taught makeup artist, Kassandra Dobson learned and perfected her skills by exploring different makeup looks and applying those looks on herself. Kassandra is the owner of Touchedbykass. She attended cosmetology school when she knew she wanted to make cosmetology a profession. While attending cosmetology school, she worked as a freelance makeup artist creating countless bridal looks for wedding parties, editorial looks for models and photo shoots and glam looks for clients for different occasions. Kassandra enjoys working with diverse groups of people. She has received many referrals because of her great skills. By furthering her learning every year, she updates her product knowledge and perfects her craft with current cosmetic trends in the makeup industry. Kassandra is not only a makeup artist, but an aspiring cosmetic line and salon owner. She is currently working on expanding her business internationally.

“My business got started when I gained the confidence that my work was good enough and that I can continue to learn and grow as the business grows. I had to also accept that I had to start somewhere. I had the passion for makeup as a little girl and made it a dream come true.”

Kassandra explains: “That title sums up both my life and future. I believe by the grace of God that one day I will be big and known for what I do and my success will be "The Turn Over" in my life.”
