Lavonia Bearfield is the founder of Angel’s Touch Mobile Phlebotomy Service.  Lavonia has 20 years of experience in the health care field.  For most of her career she worked with developmentally disabled people. She has 10 years of experience as an IV tech and has worked as a supervisor for 5 years at Marriott Assisted Living in Mountainside, NJ.  Lavonia Bearfield specializes in children, geriatrics, and special needs patients.  Lavonia is also the founder of Ellen’s House, an assisted living non-profit organization that will house seniors 65 years of age and older.

HOW ANGEL’S TOUCH MPS GOT STARTED

Angel’s Touch MPS was started on the premise to give our community another avenue to access health care.

Her late mother.

Lavonia explains: “My mother wouldn’t settle for NO. She was a go-getter. Nothing would stop her until the job was done.”

 

FAVORITE QUOTE

I accept my NO’S and appreciate my YESES.  I come across more NO’s, but when I get a yes, it over powers all the no’s I received. –Unknown  

 

FAVORITE PASTIME

In addition to spending time with her beautiful four children, Lavonia enjoys cooking, networking, eating out, traveling, and serving in her community.

Lavonia says, “I love working with seniors. It gives me great joy to volunteer my time and resources to serve the senior community.”

 

IF HER LIFE WERE A MOVIE

God Has a Plan for Me

Lavonia explains:  “I’ve been through a lot in my life and I don’t ask why. I know that God is making me stronger for what He has in store for me.”

 

ADVICE TO YOUNGER SELF

Take your time.

Be patient.

God has your life all mapped out. 

Have faith and believe.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE FUTURE

Lavonia says: “You can expect to see and hear more about the success and growth of Angel’s Touch.  I’m looking to offer my services in the Pennsylvania area in September 2015. Also, my goal is to open the Ellen’s House assisted living homes in Essex County.”
