Today's Spotlight is on Schivane Bonhomme, founder of Beautifully Empowered.
Schivane Bonhomme is an author, writer, inspirational & motivational speaker, poet, advocate and leader born and raised in Irvington, New Jersey. She has written almost all her life, beginning as a young child who would write in diaries and journals. With time, writing became the primary way in which she expressed herself. Schivane has transformed her life from being a typical young girl who encountered many trials and tribulations, to a leader of young girls and women all over the world. Her transparency pertaining to her testimony has been able to inspire and impact countless lives. At the age of 21, Schivane published her first book that helped to begin a movement.
Schivane is powerful and passionate when she speaks, and makes no apologies for where she has been; rather, she uses and draws from those past experiences to help bring a certain authenticity to her presentation. Her transformation is not only evident in her language, but in her posture, demeanor, and attitude. She embodies a woman who is full of confidence but speaks about a time when confidence, love, and living a life of purpose seemed impossible. Those attributes and characteristics is what draw people to her. Her passion and desire to transform the way in which people see themselves is the work of her life.
