Marline Francois is the founder of Far More Precious, Inc., a faith based non-profit organization that helps adolescents and young women overcome the pain of their past while promoting self-worth, healing and freedom. Far More Precious aims for every woman to live a joyful life and passionately pursuing their purpose. She currently works as a Licensed Social Worker in a psychiatric hospital. She also mentors youth in the community and facilitates support groups for survivors of sexual abuse. Marline is passionate about working with young women and helping them overcome their painful past.

Far More Precious, Inc. currently offers self-esteem workshops, goal setting workshops, life skills training, career and college planning, women networking events, volunteer opportunities and academic scholarships. The organization also sells Far More Precious tees of which 100% of the proceed goes towards our scholarship fund.

Marline explains: “One of the things that Far More Precious does is highlight the work of other women on our blog called "Lady of The Day". We feature what they're passionate about, challenges they have faced, words of inspiration and how to get connected with them. It is important for us to show young girls that there are many women who went from surviving to thriving.”
HOW FAR MORE PRECIOUS, INC. GOT STARTED
Marline says: “The vision of the organization was birthed in July 2012 at 3am while reading Proverbs 31 in my quiet time. However, it took another year before it came to life. In July 2013, we started the process of incorporated our non-profit and hosting events and workshops.”

Marline explains: "Her strength, resilience, grace, humility, love and joy that she carries through every season really inspires me. It is amazing to see how she incorporates God in everything that she does. She is my biggest supporter and I know she is always praying for me."

Marline says: “One thing that I enjoy is going to rooftops for brunches. It is really relaxing to just eat and enjoy the scenery.”

Marline explains: “I am all about empowering women around me. I believe when you are EMPOWERED, you have no other choice but to help other women become empowered too.”
ADVICE TO YOUNGER SELF
If you can't afford it, don't swipe it. I believe financial education is something that needs to be talked about in schools.

Marline says: “Prayerfully, a girl's conference for young girls and I would love to write a book.”
