Jonathan-“Dexter” Albert is the founder of Dexterity Productions. He is a bass player, inpatient coder, photographer, husband, and father of a beautiful daughter. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management from Kean University.

Dexter says: “I try to put a cool spin to whatever it is that I'm doing; something captivating to the mind, whether it is scenery, composition, or etc.”
HOW DEXTERITY PRODUCTION GOT STARTED
“I decided one day that I would rather do something I enjoyed doing for a living....so I bought my first semi-pro camera in the past year and just started building from there. My original plan was to start a YouTube channel, but then I started snapping away and taking pics. I’ve always enjoyed the editing of photos, but I just never had the camera. After doing one shoot, one thing led to another and here we are. I just kept reinvesting in the business and building.”
ADVICE TO SOMEONE PURSUING THEIR DREAMS
“Don't be afraid.”
“I know I was. It's a fear of rejection....especially from your peers. People you know probably won't be the ones to support you. Friends may not even support you or pretend like they do. That's just the way life is. Not everyone wants you to succeed, but just keep your head up and take that step... that leap of faith...believe in yourself and the rest follows. If people believe in your work/talent, they will go out of their way to contact you.”

Dexter explains: “I've seen him follow his dreams and stick to them despite negative criticism and negativity. He never let it stop him till this day.”

Dexter explains: “I just want to enjoy what I do for a living, so hopefully one day I will be my own boss.”

Invest. Stop buying nonsense.
Dexter explains: “I could have been further along with my dreams if I had that thinking.”
