Songwriter Tammy Hendrix has been writing songs about life, love and relationships since the age of 12. Her style of writing in which she labels as “Music Therapy” has been fueled by the personal experiences of the artists she has worked with. As a an event producer, she founded “Music After Dark”, a showcase focusing on aspiring artists, giving them the opportunity to share their music and network with community artists and musicians. Tammy also helps artists with the production of their music shows.

Tammy Hendrix is a songwriter working towards placement on albums. She is a music event producer who provides music lovers with events to attend and enjoy live entertainment. Tammy Hendrix also assists artists with writing for their projects.

Tammy explains: "One thing I’ve noticed is as you begin putting together events, you realize so many people are doing the same thing or something similar, so I am constantly thinking of new ideas to provide my audience with a new music experience."
HOW TAMMY HENDRIX GOT STARTED
“I grew up writing music. When I hit college I didn't really write as much as I would've liked and I would never imagine that lil ol' ME would be pulling together music shows. But once I completed my Masters, I just knew I had to make moves. And once I got through my first music show, it was up from there. Sometimes I get deep in my feelings because I think maybe I should have not gone to college... maybe I could have been further. But I truly believe all of my steps were ordered and I took that path for a reason.”
GREATEST INFLUENCE
Her father.
Tammy explains: “The man wakes up early every day... and I mean 4 a.m. early, to make sure he can provide. I work hard so I can at least give him HALF of what he's given me.”

ADVICE TO YOUNGER SELF
- They (people) don't matter... Their opinions hold no weight.
- You are beautiful inside and out.
- Don't compare yourself.
- Don't stress.
- Live life.
- Work hard.
- Carry God with you everywhere.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN FUTURE
Tammy Hendrix is currently in the planning stages of preparing for her signature music events in which she is extremely excited about. With new music on the way, Tammy is anticipating album placements.
